Hey There.

Brandon McCarrell is a director that strives to create work that help gives a voice to those who’s message needs to be heard in a world that seems louder and louder. He grew up in the small town of Parma Michigan, and has planted everywhere from Los Angeles, California to Ottawa, Ontario Canada but now calls Durham, North Carolina home.

Brandon is known for his drive, passion for hard-work, and ability to think quick on his feet. He is referred to as a kind, thoughtful, and easy-going leader who’s always open to new ideas, exploration and collaboration. He truly loves serving the world by being generous to others and making people feel valued simply for who they are. Brandon is truly most passionate about grace, seeking truth, learning how to love better, and making the world a place of hope through his interactions with others and the stories he tells.

Brandon began evolving his storytelling voice from a young age through music and still enjoys getting behind the drum kit every now and then. From photographing touring bands for the Alternative Press; producing national campaigns for Universities; directing documentary content for non-profits in Canada, America, Kenya, and India; and producing alongside regional and global brands, Brandon’s drive and passion for others continues to grow into something much bigger than himself. Founding Raven Media House in 2018 was the evolution of the foundation laid the decade before, and allowed him to create a community of world-class collaborators to capture: authentic, modern, journalistic content focused on cultivating relationships that helps impact local communities and the world.

Brandon and Raven Media House’s community includes brands such as Facebook, Nascar, Nike, Stop Soldier Suicide, Elevation Outreach, Elevation Church, Global Hope India, Affordable Dentures and Implants, Convoy of Hope, Ottawa Tourism, Alamance Arts among others. Work has also been featured in the Alternative Press, Huffington Post, Detroit Free Press, Mlive, and MyOttawa.
